The 7/8 football teams will have practice this Saturday morning (8/20) from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Door 9 will be open at 9:10 am for players to go to the locker room.
It’s time for our middle School spell bowl team to get in gear! Do you like spelling? Are you willing to study? If the answer is yes to those questions, we want YOU to join the spell bowl team!!

We have a number of K-8 yearbooks left over from 2018, 2019, and 2020. These yearbooks will be for sale through the end of September for $5.00 each. If you would like to purchase one please contact Mrs. Fitch in the office or third grade teacher, Mrs. Dreessen (cdreessen@bps.k12.in.us).
Tomorrow late start Thursday reminder - Outside doors will remain locked until 7:30 a.m. when students may enter through door 9 and report directly to the cafeteria. Students are released to class at 8:15 a.m. and school begins promptly at 8:25 a.m. If your child rides a bus to school, pickup will be approximately 30 minutes later than normal school days.
We are looking for a crossing guard to assist students crossing Plymouth Street. The hours are from 7:30 am to 8:00 am and 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Thursday morning would be from 7:50 am to 8:20 am. The pay is $25.00 per day. Please contact the Administration Office at 574-546-3929 if you are interested.
Middle school open house Tuesday night (8/9/22) from 6-7 pm. Students can pick up their classes schedules in the middle school gym starting at 5:45 pm.

Open House - Grades 6-8 will be held Tuesday, August 9th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Fitch will be available in the elementary office to take textbook rental payments and computer insurance fees. Mrs. Stouder will be available in the elementary office to take lunch account payments. Printed student schedules will be available in the K-8 gym.
Just a reminder this will be the only opportunity to see your child's classroom and meet the teacher. Parents are not permitted past the elementary office during the school day including the first day of school. During arrival and dismissal times we will have numerous staff members to help students.

Device distribution for Grades 5-12 is Wednesday, August 3, 2022, 11:00am to 6:30pm, in the Lions Den! You can make payments and pick up your device; please enter through door 1. Grades 3&4 will receive devices in class on the first day of school.
7/8 Football Info: Due to the projected heat index of 100* on Wednesday, August 3rd practice will be cancelled. We will practice on Thursday, August 4th and Friday, August 5th from 3:30 to 4:30. Please stay hydrated!

K-8 Parents - Harmony is now live. Online registration must be completed by Friday, August 6th for each student for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have forgotten your user ID or password for Harmony, please email jstine@bps.k12.in.us or sgilley@bps.k12.in.us and you will receive an email with a new registration code to create a new account. Kindergarten and new students will be receiving their invitation code through email today.
Parents are encouraged to complete a free and reduced lunch application if applicable as lunches will not be "free" to students this school year. Breakfast price is $1.50 and lunches will be $2.50. You may pay online through your Harmony account for computer insurance, textbook rental fees, and lunch account.
2022-2023 School Information
Parents wanting to pay the $20 computer fee early for students in grades 3-8 can do so today with Mrs. Fitch until 2:00 p.m. Harmony will be available for online payments and online registration Monday, August 1st.
Distinguished Young Women of Bremen is having a Fun Fair July 28th. It will be on the front lawn of BHS from 4:30-8pm. There are Raffle Baskets, Fair Games and Food Trucks. All money raised goes directly to the DYW Scholarships.
Graduates from previous years who have earned a reoccurring DFS scholarship may pick those up in the High School office starting tomorrow from 8-3:30. 2022 Graduates who have not picked up their DFS checks may do so at that time as well.
