Virtual learning days are preplanned days that
are built into our annual academic calendar.
During these scheduled days, students will be
working off-site, completing lessons assigned by
their classroom teachers that best fit a continuation of their daily curriculum. During this day, staff members also participate in planned staff development activities to help hone their professional skills. Instructors will be available by email to answer questions regarding the assignments.

Freshman and Seniors! Class Ring and Graduation orders will be due on Friday, September 18 during lunch in the Gym A Commons, or payment and orders can be dropped off on Saturday, September 19, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at a table located on the front lawn of the High School.
Parents - please remember to wash your child's face mask regularly and make sure they have a reusable water bottle available to refill during the school day.
Free Meals for Students
Breakfast & Lunch
Beginning September 1, 2020 all students will be provided the opportunity to receive free breakfast and free lunch each school day.
The free meals are funded by the USDA in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Student meal accounts charged for meals beginning September 1, 2020 will be credited. Funds deposited into your child’s account will be utilized when the free meal program ends on December 31, 2020 or when funds are no longer available, whichever comes first. Students will return to their approved eligibility at the point the program ends.
Parents picking up meals for the Virtual Learning Students will continue as planned. If you would like to start picking up meals, contact Hope Andrews at handrews@bps.k12.in.us for more information.
Families who have traditionally participated in the free and reduced meal program still need to fill out applications for the 2020-2021 school year to qualify for textbooks or meal assistance once the free meal program ends. Apply at www.bps.k12.in.us if you have not already done so.
Families do not have to be on free or reduced benefits to receive these
meals. All extras and ala carte items will continue to be charged to the
students account at current prices. This includes milk purchased without the full meal.

If ANYONE in your household is in the process of getting a COVID test, all family members need to quarantine (STAY HOME) until the test results come back negative. For example, if your parent or a sibling is waiting for a COVID test result by staying home, you should also STAY HOME! If the test comes back positive, you will need to get a COVID test, but continue to quarantine (STAY HOME from school). If students or parents need clarification on this serious scenario, please ask questions.

Senior Photos for the Yearbook will be taken by Prestige in the Auditorium Lobby on Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23. Seniors should have received an email detailing a specific date and time you will be going. If you have questions, ask Mallory in the front office.
Seniors: There will be a Senior Class Meeting with a Jostens representative on Friday, September 11 at 8:10 a.m. in the Auditorium. EACC students do not have class; so, they should try to attend the meeting.
