6th grade girls interested in basketball cheer are invited to a call out meeting on Wednesday, October 19th, duirng lunch time. Interested girls must have a current physical on file in the athletic office and must register online as an athlete on the BPS athletics website.

Without final confirmation from Register My Athlete, students will not be able to practice. Winter sports registration is a requirement for all athletes in grades 5-12. To participate

Boys basketball eligibility for players in grades 5-8 will be determined by the first 9-week grading period which ends this Friday. Students with any Fs on their report card are not eligible until midterm grade reports are posted during the week of November 7th.

JA Biztown is open for business! This is the annual 6th grade trip that ties together classroom learning about how a business community works together by putting it into action.

Today's professional devlopment training is focused on utilizing the NWEA data to increase student achievement for our students. NWEA, formerly known as the Northwest Evaluation Association, is a research-based not-for-profit organization that creates academic assessments for students pre-K-12. NWEA assessments are used by over 9,500 schools and districts in 145 countries.

NJHS Induction Ceremony 2022. Congratulations to our new members!




MS Football: We are still practicing Friday (9/23). Practice will be the same time 3:30-5:00pm. Door 9 will be open at 3:15. Please pick your athlete up promptly after practice.
Parent-teacher conferences for K-8 parents will be held in person this year. Forms should be coming home with students this week. Be sure forms are completed and returned as soon as possible.

Tomorrow night's BEMS PTO meeting has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
VIRTUAL LEARNING DAY IS THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23! Virtual learning days are preplanned days that are built into our annual academic calendar. During these scheduled days, students will be working off-site completing lessons assigned by their classroom teachers that best fit a continuation of their daily curriculum. During this day, staff members also participate in planned staff-development activities to help hone their professional skills. Instructors will be available by email to answer questions regarding the assignments.
