JA Biztown is open for business for our 6th graders!
Now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 preschool class. Children must be 4 years old before August 1st. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required with your application as well as a copy of your child's birth certificate and immunization record. Cost is $375 per month. Preschool is Monday through Friday for the entire school day. Applications are available in the elementary office or if you prefer, an application can be mailed to you - just complete the simple form by clicking on the link below:

6th Graders are reminded of the BizTown trip on Friday. Students need to bring a sack lunch and a reusable water bottle.

Due to the anticipated cold weather, Bremen Public Schools will be on a virtual day tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/26/2022. Assignments will be posted by 10am. I apologize for any inconvenience this cause our families and staff.

Proof of residency is required for all students currently enrolled at Bremen Public Schools. If you have not completed this obligation, please be sure this is done by Monday, February 7th. This is a requirement from the Indiana Department of Education. If you have already sent in your documentation, please disregard this notice.
February is our annual Read Like a Champion Challenge for PreK-8 students. BEMS students are challenged to read a combined 500,000 minutes during the month. PreK-3rd grade students are encourage to read 20 minutes per day. 4th-8th grade students are encouraged to read 30 minutes per day. Paper reading logs will be provided to students. There will be special dress up days and random drawings for prizes to students who are reading.
Freshman Orientation for the class of 2026 will take place Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 6 pm in the Bowen Auditorium. Any incoming Freshman and their families are welcome to attend.
Job Openings - Bremen Public Schools has a variety of job openings. We are looking for employees to work in the media center, with special education students, serving in the cafeteria, maintaining the bus fleet and as substitutes. BI-COUNTY UPDATE: as of 1/18/22
The varsity girls and boys is as planned originally right now.
The first round of the Bi-County boys JV basketball games will now all be played at LaVille on Wednesday, January 19.
The Lions JV team will play in LaVille's main gym against Argos at 7:45 p.m.
The winner of the Bremen-Argos game will play in the semi-finals on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at LaVille.
The championship game for the JV boys will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at LaVille.
Coming Soon: February Read Like a Champion Challenge!
During the month of February BEMS students will be challenged to Read Like a Champion. PreK-3rd grade students are challenged to read 20 minutes per day, and 4th-8th grade students are challenged to read 30 minutes per day. There will be special dress up days, incentives, and prizes. Students will have either a digital or paper reading log to record their daily minutes. Our PreK-8 goal is to read for at least 500,000 minutes for the month.
Please encourage your child to read regularly and spend some time reading to or with your child. More details coming soon!
We are cancelling all extra-curricular activities tonight for both the HS and Middle school. That includes all practices and Intermural activities.

Due to the icy weather, tonight's JV TCU Bi-County Games have been postponed.
Tonight's JV Games will take Place this coming Wednesday night. Wednesday's JV Semi-Finals will now take place on Saturday Morning.
Musical rehearsal tonight has been cancelled. All cast please be at rehearsal tomorrow at 5:30. Stay safe.
TCU Bi-County Basketball Tournament
The TCU Bi-County Basketball Tournament is this week! The boys JV basketball team will compete against Argos at Bremen on Monday, January 17, at 6:00 p.m. The Varsity girls and Varsity boys will play at Argos on Tuesday night. The girls game will start at 6:00 p.m., followed by the boys game at 7:30 p.m. Single session tickets can be purchased at the door.
