Bremen Public Schools

Allen Molebash ('53), attended Butler University, where he earned his degree in pharmacy. After completing his studies, Al returned to his hometown of Bremen to begin his career at Summy’s Pharmacy.

His dedication to the community and passion for helping others quickly became evident, and in time, he purchased the business—renaming it Allen’s Pharmacy. Al especially enjoyed when Bremen athletes would stop by after practice, gathering around the soda fountain to talk and laugh together.

Beyond his professional life, Al is a devoted Bremen supporter and longtime fixture at football games, where he played his trombone from the stands to fire up the crowd. His school spirit ran so deep that he even purchased Bremen’s first lion mascot costume, helping bring extra pride and excitement to every game.

This Saturday, Al celebrates his 90th birthday, marking not only a remarkable milestone but also a lifetime of service, school spirit, and love for his hometown.
