Alfredo & Family

Alfredo Alvarado ('00) is a graduate and returning lifelong resident of Bremen.  Alfredo values family, faith, and community engagement. He and his wife (Jackie) are raising three sons (Aiden 15, Carson 12, Roman 10) who attend Bremen Public Schools and are very active in sports. Coming from a large, first-generation Mexican American family of 14 siblings, he credits his parents and strong upbringing for his strong work ethic and commitment to service and country. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching baseball, basketball, traveling, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He is a corporate real estate executive with over 20 years of global project, management, and business experience. He currently serves as Associate Director of Corporate Global Real Estate at Zimmer Biomet, where he directs more than 320 facilities worldwide for Zimmer Biomet (Fortune 500 Company) . Alfredo has successfully executed over half a $ billion in real estate and construction transactions across more than 50 countries.  He is also the President and Owner of Lion Property Group that he started in 2019, which has helped give back to the community in the form of sponsorships and donations. 

He has served on the Bremen Public School Board and the Community Hospital of Bremen Board up until recently. He was also active with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. Academically, Alfredo holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, a B.S. in Science from Coastal Carolina University, and an A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from Horry Georgetown College. He has completed executive programs at the University of Notre Dame, Columbia University, Harvard, along with earning his Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR).  

In addition to his professional achievements, he is a dedicated community leader and servant volunteer.  He recently coached and led the 10U Baseball team to the Town & Country Championship, Semi State Runner Up, and State Qualifiers.
